MARKET NEWS
As well as the return to the market of strawberries, tomatoes, asparagus and lettuces, marking the beginning of the summer, a number of new stallholders will be starting at the Farmers Market during May, with some great new products for the delight of our tastebuds;
Marlborough Mushrooms are a new business specialising in Shiitake and Oyster Mushrooms, which will be available fresh and dried on the stall.
Just Chicken is also a new business who will be selling free range chicken.
The Wiltshire Chilli Farm will be bringing their range of Chilli products to the matrket twice a month on the 2nd and 4th Sundays.
There have been a number of other recent starters at the market including; Fruity Foods with a great range of jams and chutneys (third sunday of the month); Felce Foods seafish products (every week but not last one in the month); the Potted Game Company and Ian's Woodturning.

This popular weekly Farmers' Market is held outside the Swindon Designer Outlet every Sunday, from 10am to 4pm.
There are around 10 to 20 stalls each week, including freshly baked bread and cakes from the Old Farmhouse Bakery and The Artisan Bakehouse, freshly harvested vegetables, Whiltshire Cheese and honey, farmhouse butter, traditionally reared free-range meat, farmhouse sausages and home-cured bacon, cut flowers, doughnuts, ice cream, goats cheese & milk, apple juice and wine, plants for the garden, and more.
Lots of tasters available - come and try before you buy!
Follow signs to the Swindon Designer Outlet or "Steam" and park in the North car park. The market runs alongside the new National Trust visitor center and cafe and is near to the Steam Museum - come and make a day of it!
